FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar has moved to the Round of 16 in the quest to reach the quarterfinals. After the group stage, 16 teams qualified to reach to battle each other.
There will be two games on the same day, and each winner of these two games will face in the Quarterfinals rounds of the World Cup 2022. This also gives the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi in their nation’s jersey for the first time in a major international tournament for the first time. But the game may happen in the semifinals.

National Teams who have surprised in World Cup
From Group A to H, two nations from each group reached the round of 16. Netherlands and Senegal have qualified from Group A. From Group B, England and USA have reached the next round.
As predicted Messi’s Argentina and Lewandowski’s Poland have come from Group C. Defending champion France from Group D has qualified from Group D but Australia has surprisingly qualified, as Denmark was also featured in the same group.
Group E gave a lot of surprises and thrills in World Cup 2022. Even though Spain did qualify for the next round. But Japan dominated the group by beating both Spain and Germany. Like the previous one, Germany showed a disappointing run in the World Cup again after failing to qualify for the next round.
From Group F, Morocco and Croatia are staying in Qatar for the Round of 16. But the disappointing part is that Belgium’s golden generation was not able to utilize their last World Cup. They got eliminated at a very early stage.
Brazil and Switzerland from Group G and Portugal and South Korea from Group H have reached the next round as well. But sadly Uruguay was not able to make it to the next round, as this was the last World Cup for Suarez and Cavani as well.
Some top games are going to happen in the round of 16. England vs. Senegal, Portugal vs. Switzerland, and France vs. Poland are going to be high-voltage matches. But only one team will move forward to the Quarterfinals.
