Teenage YouTuber Adalia Rose Williams who was suffering from Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome has died on 12th Jan. She was just 15 at the time of her death.
Texas-based Adalia Rose was diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford progeria when she was just 3 months old.
A post on her social media account said, “January 12, 2022, at 7 pm Adalia Rose Williams was set free from this world. She came into it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from it.
She touched MILLIONS of people and left the biggest imprint on everyone that knew her. She is no longer in pain and is now dancing away to all the music she loves. I really wish this wasn’t our reality but unfortunately it is.”

The statement concluded as “We want to say thank you to everyone that loved and supported her. Thank you to all her doctors and nurses that worked for YEARS to keep her healthy. The family would now like to mourn this huge loss in private”.

The earliest videos of Adalia dates back to 2012 in which she can be seen dancing. The most recent video of her was posted on 29 November 2021. Adalia can be seen unboxing a silicone baby doll named Luka in the video. Her channel has hit more than 339 million views.

There are approximately 400 children worldwide who are living with progeria which has an average life expectancy of 13 years while some may live up to 20 years.
There is no cure for this disease which causes children to look older than their age along with other symptoms like hair loss and slow growth
As per the National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD), “Progeria, or Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS), is a rare, fatal, genetic condition of childhood with striking features resembling premature aging.”
As time passed by, she became famous on social media. Adalia has more than 2.9 million subscribers on her YouTube Channel, 12 million on Facebook, and around 379,000 Instagram followers.
Fans and followers flooded social media with tributes and condolence messages.
Designer Michael Costello, who designed a pair of customized dresses on her 13th birthday remembered her on Instagram by writing, “My heart is broken. I am at a loss for words and cannot stop crying. Adalia has been so special to every single person that she met.
She was an angel. Words cannot convey how much you’ve changed my life. I will miss you dearly, friend, and I promise to cherish all the wonderful memories we’ve had together.”
Adalia was better known for her lively personality and passion for fashion, makeup tutorials. She used to upload YouTube videos that portrays her day-to-day life.
