Grier Admitted To Shooting Destiny In The Face…
Young Thug’s nephew Fardereen Deonta Grier is in police custody after allegedly shooting his girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick, in the face and killing her. He was arrested on Wednesday (July 6) after cops were called to a residence outside Atlanta. When officers responded, Grier was crying and his girlfriend, Destiny Fitzpatrick, was dead in a pool of blood by the front door.
East Point PD spokesperson Allyn Glover revealed that he was Young Thug’s nephew, the son of the rapper’s oldest sister. A source close to Young Thug also confirmed their relationship. As per Grier’s version, he first told the cops that he was fending off two armed, masked intruders, but officers later revealed that he has admitted to shooting Destiny in the face.
A neighbour allegedly heard arguing in the residence prior to the shooting, which sort of confirmed his admission. Fardereen Deonta Grier has been charged with murder and is currently in police custody.
Young Thug Remains In Jail Until 2023…
Fardereen Deonta Grier is the nephew of Grammy Award-winning rapper Young Thug, who remains a hyped rapper in the hip-hop world. In May, Young Thug was arrested along with fellow rapper Gunna and was booked in the Fulton County Jail. They were charged along with others for conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in street gang activity. They were arrested as a part of a 56-count grand jury indictment in Georgia impacting 28 members of Young Thug’s “Young Stoner Life Records” label. The 30-year-old “This Is America” star faces charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and for alleged participation in street gang activity, according to the jail report. However, the prosecutors alleged in the indictment that Thug’s YSL operates with the Bloods gang and highlighted numerous gang-related incidents, spanning years, that include criminal actions.
Young Thug’s Previous Lawsuits…
This may be Grier’s first crime, but his uncle Young Thug has had many run-ins with the law. in 2015, when Lil Wayne’s tour bus was fired at by the members of the Bloods street gang, Thug was one of the people involved in the lawsuit. In 2017, he was charged with drug possession and battery, the latter was withdrawn due to lack of evidence. He again got into trouble in 2018 for possession of drugs. In June, Young Thug’s bond was denied and he is ordered to remain in jail until 2023. As for his nephew, Grier faces murder charges. Any murder in Georgia carries a minimum sentence of life in prison. More severe penalties include life without parole or death. Keep reading for more updates on this case.
