The media outlet TMZ recently reported that the 82-year-old singer started experiencing some issues with one of her legs on Thursday which was enough for her to cancel her upcoming show in Illinois.
It has been disclosed by the publication that Dionne is on the road to recovery and but she will need some time to get better. The show was set to take place on June 24 at Rivers Casino Des Plaines outside Chicago. The ticketholders gathered information about the cancellation of the Chicago concert via an email that was sent by the venue, Rivers Casino Des Plaines.
An email was sent to all the ticketholders to inform them that the Illinois show has been canceled and that they will be receiving a full refund. The email obtained by TMZ read, “We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023, at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been canceled due to a medical incident.”
The email further read, “All ticket purchases will receive a full refund. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future.”
Apart from the June 24 show, Dionne also has shows on June 22 and June 23 but there has been no reports about their cancellation. As per her official website, she will take a break from her tour after June 24 show. Then, she will return to the stage in New York on July 21.
