Conor McGregor shares update after his bicycle was hit by a car
On Friday, Conor took to his Instagram page to disclose more details about the scary accident. He posted a picture of his bicycle and a video from the site of the accident on the social media platform Instagram.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight started by writing, “Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me. Full speed straight thru me.”
Conor went on to say, “Thank you God, it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life.” In the video shared by the UFC star, he can be seen showing the aftermath of the accident.
The footage also showed the driver profusely apologizing. On the other hand, McGregor said, “All good, all good. Don’t worry about it.” Conor clearly understood the seriousness of the situation and added, “I could have been dead there, mate, look!!” and “Jesus Christ … I think I got away with my life, there.”
As a result of the accident, Conor’s pants ripped as he fell to the ground. He didn’t have much body damage. However, he did get a cut on his bum and upper right leg.. He stated his bike was “f***ed.” He continued, “God bless … I’m still here. Thank God. That’s all that matters.” Ultimately, he got a ride from the driver who hit him.
