What Happened To Al Roker? Hospitalized For Leg And Lung Blood Clots

Al Roker hasn’t been on TODAY for over a week now. Many fans are worried about the health of the TODAY host as he hasn’t been on the show for quite some time.

Reports have indicated that the weather forecaster was absent from NBC’s show for several days, prompting concerns about his health and well-being.

What Is The Reason That Al Roker Is Not On The Today Show Today?

For the past few weeks, weather forecaster Al Roker has been missing from the ‘Today’ show’s weather forecast segment. It has been speculated that Al has been missing for some time now. However, the man has come forward to explain his absence to his fans.

On the iconic weatherman’s Instagram page, he posted that he had just been admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in a leg part of his body. The post mentioned that Al had suffered a blood clot in his leg, which traveled to his lungs and caused a few clots to form.

He added, however, that he had been given “excellent” medical treatment and was already recovering from his injuries. I want to give a special thank you to all of my friends for their good wishes. I hope to see you soon”. Deborah Roberts, Al’s wife, expressed gratitude to the medical staff and all the people worldwide for their prayers and the care provided for him.

The 68-year-old started by writing: “So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I’ve been. Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg, which sent some clots into my lungs. After some medical whack-a-mole, I am fortunate to get terrific medical care and am on the way to recovery.” In addition, he went on to say: “Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers, and I hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone.”

Following The Announcement, Prayers And Well-Wishes Poured In From All Over

It was a day of celebration and well-wishes for the couple after the announcement and prayers from worldwide. Journalism Savannah Guthrie described Al Guthrie as one of the most challenging people she had ever met.

A columnist for the morning show, Craig Melvin, wrote in his column that he was looking forward to Al’s return to the morning show. The 68-year-old weatherman from the Tampa Bay area underwent prostate cancer surgery in November 2020 after he was diagnosed with the disease in the same year.

There Is No Doubt That Al Roker Is One Of The Most Legendary Weathermen In Television History

As one of the most recognizable weather forecasters on television, Al Roker is undoubtedly one of the most iconic. NBC’s Today Show is hosted by him, and he has hosted the show since 1996, making him one of the most well-known hosts in the business.

It has been Al Roker’s privilege to report on landmark weather events, such as Hurricane Wilma in 2005. This is because, over the years, he has covered a wide range of weather events. Occasionally, Al hosts a “3rd Hour Today” program, a daily talk show.

He has also covered the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade for NBC since 1995 as a weather forecaster for the network. The show was hosted by Meredith Viera instead of him, who was substituted for Meredith Viera by NBC.

Having been hospitalized for a health issue, Al Roker is now recovering. Our prayers are with him, and we pray that he will heal as soon as possible.
