Sydney Sweeney is finally showing off her engagement ring! The Euphoria actress, who has been engaged to Jonathan Davino for more than a year, kept her diamond ring at full display while attending the Cannes Film Festival during the weekend.
Sweeney, who earlier stated that she likes to keep her relationship private, has mostly shied away from wearing her engagement ring in public. However, the frequent absence of the ring had put her relationship with Davino in question, as there had been multiple rumors of her getting closer to her Anyone but You co-star Glen Powell.

The 25-year-old actress was photographed exiting Hotel Martinez on the French Riviera with her fiancé Jonathan Davino during the weekend. The star couple was in the city to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Sweeney made head turns with her white slip-silk dress while her restaurateur fiancé sported a beige sweater with black pants.
The two looked happy together as they smiled for the media. However, the thing that got the most attention was Sweeney’s engagement ring. The ring, which has been a rare sighting in the last few months, was finally seen on the actress’ left hand. The star did not explicitly flaunt the ring, it was clearly seen as she held onto her fiancé’s arm.

It has been a long time since the actress was seen last wearing her engagement ring. As per reports, the previous such sighting took place in October last year. Meanwhile, rumors started surfacing that there was trouble in paradise for Sweeney and Davino.
It was also speculated that the actress was having an affair with her upcoming film’s co-star Glen Powell. The reports were further fueled when Powell’s ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed him on social media, hinting that he might have cheated on her.
While Sweeney did not address the rumors, she seemingly denied the reports by going out on frequent dates with Davino in the last few weeks. The two were more recently seen having dinner at Sake No Hana in New York City at the end of April, though, the engagement ring was given a miss at the time.
The Actress Got Engaged to Davino in February Last Year
Sweeney and Davino started dating in 2018 and got engaged in February 2022. Apart from missing her engagement ring on several occasions, the actress also chose not to talk about her love life publicly.
“I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system,” she said in an interview last year.
“I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back,” added The White Lotus star.
