Pink has received many gifts during her concerts, including flowers and soft toys, however, the singer was greeted with a rather unexpected gift in London. The 43-year-old pop star was performing at BST Hyde Park on Sunday when a fan threw a bag of their mother’s ashes onstage.
Pink was left stunned and did not know how to react for a moment. After a little confrontation with the fan, she continued her gig. The video of the incident is now going viral on social media. Read on to know the full details of the event.
Fan Throws Mother’s Ashes Onstage During Pink’s London Concert
The incident occurred on June 25th when Pink was performing her hit track Just Like a Pill at BST Hyde Park in London. At one point, when the singer was at the front of the stage, a fan from the audience tossed a plastic bag that landed on Pink’s feet.
The What About Us was left shocked as she picked up the bag and noticed gray ashes inside it. She held the bag in her hand and asked the fan who had thrown it, “Is this your mom?” When the fan confirmed this, Pink replied, “I don’t know how I feel about this,” and placed the plastic bag behind one of the speakers onstage.

The singer then moved to the main stage and expressed, “I have to say, that was a first.” Without further ado, Pink continued with her performance and closed the show with her 2008 hit So What, while being suspended in the air.
The Concert was a Part of Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour
The BST Hyde Park shows over the weekend were a part of Pink’s Summer Carnival tour, which is set to go on in Europe till July 16. The concerts featured an opening act by Gwen Stefani, who was thanked by Pink with an adorable Instagram post.
“You’re the coolest, kindest, and you always have the most swag in the room. Thank you for spending your weekend with me. We have so much more to cover 😂 I’m gonna call you tomorrow lol. I love you,” the singer wrote posting a picture with Stefani.
Post the European leg of the Summer Carnival Tour, Pink will move to North America from July 28 to October 9. She will once again tour across the USA and Canada for her Trustfall Tour in November, before concluding the Summer Carnival Tour in Australia and New Zealand in March next year.
Pink’s Daughter is also Performing on the Tour
Pink’s 12-year-old daughter Willow has also been performing with her mother at the Summer Carnival Tour. The duo released their song Cover Me in Sunshine in 2021. Talking about Willow’s involvement in the tour, Pink revealed that her daughter would be earning minimum wage for her job at the concerts.
“Willow has a job on tour. We just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state. I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. It’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like, ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math,’” said Pink.
