He was charged with one count of reckless driving by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.
It has been reported by various media outlets that the alleged car crash took place on March 4 near Rodeo Drive and Elevado Avenue in Beverly Hills. At that point in time, The King of Staten Island actor lost control of the car, struck a fire hydrant, and plowed into the side of a house at about 11 p.m.
As per reports, Pete’s girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders best known by the fans for playing the role of Emma in the 2022 comedy-horror feature Bodies Bodies Bodies (in which she co-starred with her beau Pete Davidson) and Riley in the HBO Max series Generation was also present with him in the car when the alleged crash happened.
In a statement issued, Greg Risling, assistant chief of media relations at the LA County District Attorney’s office said, “We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home.”
It further read, “Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences.” At the time of the accident, Pete was behind the wheel of a Mercedes. He was driving a bit fast through a residential street and he ended up losing control of the car and crashed into a Beverly Hills home.

The insider told the media outlet that the two of them are super close and that Pete is “very happy.” The source went on to say that “he’s taking his time with the relationship.” The insider continued, “When they’re apart, they’re always on the phone and just a cute couple.”
