Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj reportedly became the victim of a swatting call. This week, an anonymous caller told the police authorities that the rap queen’s 2-year-old son was being abused.
The prankster shared the false story with child services. Soon after, the Los Angeles Police Department sheriff’s deputies reached Nicki’s California mansion to check if everything was okay.
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, Nicki whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty shares her 2-year-old son with her husband Kenneth Petty. She had a chat with the cops who showed up at her house located in California.
After meeting the toddler, whose real name is yet to be revealed publicly, the cops figured out that there were no signs of abuse. Although, a couple of hours later, the police authorities got another call. This time, the cops were informed about a fire at Nicki’s home. This report was also completely false.
At the moment, the Trinidadian-born rapper is taking some legal action against the people responsible for the prank calls.
