Dawn Lyn, a former child star who shot to fame in the ’60s and ’70s on the TV show My Three Sons, is in a coma at the moment. As per a report by TMZ, the Hollywood actress has fallen into a coma after undergoing brain surgery.

What did Stanley Livingston have to say about Dawn’s health condition?
For those of you who are unaware, let us tell you Stanley Livingston played the role of Lyn’s TV brother, Chip Douglas, on the sitcom My Three Sons which aired in the ‘60s and ‘70s. She essayed the character of Dodie Douglas in the show.
Last week, Dawn’s former co-star Stanley Livingston shared a health update about her on the social media platform Facebook. He started by writing, “Just found out my little TV Sis’, DAWN LYN (Dodie), is in a COMA and fighting for her life. She had surgery recently to remove a brain tumor. Please pray for her to have a swift and full recovery.”
The 71-year-old went on to say, “I took Dawn out to lunch a couple of months ago. We had a great time reminiscing about our MTS days. Dawn is one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. Thoughts and prayers also go out to her husband, John, at this time. This is devastating news!”
In a second post, Stanley stated that “she remains unconscious battling meningitis.” He further added, “Her vitals and brain waves are good. The doctors and nurses are aggressively fighting the bacterial infection. They’re optimistic.”
Dawn’s former co-star Tina Cole sent her prayers and shared that she will keep fans updated
Tina Cole also put out a post for Dawn Lyn on Facebook and she wrote, “My heartfelt prayers go out to my “My Three Sons” sweet “lil’ sis”, Dawn Lyn (Dodie) and her husband John. Dawn is fighting for her life after undergoing brain surgery. I’m in touch with John and I will keep you all updated. Please keep her in your prayers as well. Tina.”
Lyn’s real-life brother, Leif Garrett, issued a statement to TMZ, and stated that Dawn “never wanted anyone to know” about the surgery. He further added, “Since it has been leaked on social media, I would really appreciate everyone’s understanding that it has already been a difficult time having lost both of our parents and a cousin recently.”
Dawn’s brother Leif Garrett concluded the statement by saying, “Please just keep my sister in your thoughts and prayers and respect our family’s privacy. Thank you.”
