On Sunday, Morgan Wallen’s 2-year-old son Indigo Wilder was bitten in the face by a dog. Now, the singer’s former partner KT Smith is thinking about finding a new home for the dog. After the attack, the kid received a few stitches.
Morgan’s former partner KT Smith spilled the beans on the whole incident on her Instagram Stories on Monday. She revealed that her son Indigo is recovering well now. In a clip shared, she said, ‘Yesterday, he bit Indigo in the face and [Indigo] had to have stitches and we spent yesterday morning at the emergency room.’
She said, ‘Since then, we have been looking for options and I just couldn’t bring myself to what everyone else says and what you’re supposed to do, apparently – what the world tells you to do is to put the dog down because they are aggressive.’
Katie stated that she has ‘gone back and forth with that’ and known in her heart that Legend ‘does not deserve that because he is wonderful and could do really great with a family who doesn’t have small children.’
The Nashville-based influencer went on to say, ‘I know I don’t want him to go to a kill shelter … and shelters are full.’ She hoped that she could find a new home for the pooch for owners who don’t have young kids and have plenty of space for Legend to roam around.
Smith also confessed that she would not be able to keep Legend in her house due to her concern that her son Indigo might be scared by the presence of the dog in the house following the attack.
Katie who is the ex-fiancé of the country singer talked about the series of events in detail and said, ‘This will be all over the place and I’ll also start off by saying I never wanted to bring this to social media, but he deserves better.’
