What was the cause behind Andrés García’s death?

The cause behind García’s death was hepatic cirrhosis. According to Mayo Clinic, cirrhosis is severe scarring of the liver. This condition can be caused by various forms of liver diseases such as hepatitis and chronic alcoholism.

When the liver gets injured due to some reason, it tries to repair itself and this process results in the formation of scar tissues. The increasing number of scar tissues makes it difficult for the liver to function properly.

The symptoms of cirrhosis are as follows: fatigue, bleeding, loss of appetite, nausea, fluid accumulation in the abdomen, swelling, yellow discoloration in the skin, weight loss, clubbing of the fingers, redness in the palms of the hands, and itchy skin.
