On Sunday, May 21, 2023, the Wall Street Journal revealed in a startling report that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates had an extra-marital affair with a Russian bridge player named Mila Antonova.
The report claimed that Bill was reportedly extorted by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein over his scandalous affair with Mila Antonova. When their relationship began, Mila was in her 20s, meanwhile, Gates was in his late 50s.
As per WSJ, the billionaire tech titan was 55 years old when he met Mila around 2010 and the torrid affair allegedly started. Very little is known about the alleged affair of Antonova and Gates.
In an old video shared on YouTube, Mila was seen giving a presentation about the card game. The footage also showed her talking about meeting Bill Gates at the National Bridge tournament in Washington D.C. The two of them were also clicked together at that point when she said, “I didn’t beat him, but I tried to kick him with my leg.”
At that time, Antonova was trying to raise some funds to establish an online bridge tutorial business. Then, Bill’s advisor Boris Nikolic reportedly introduced the Russian bridge player to Jeffery Epstein to give her a helping hand to raise some funds for her business which aspired to “promote bridge by creating quality tutorials for beginners and advanced players.”

The WSJ mentioned that Mila and Jeffrey met each other at his New York townhouse in November 2013 but they failed to garner the funds through the financier. Although, after the meeting, Epstein let Antonova stay in his townhouse for a total of 3 years. In addition to this, he also paid the fees for her coding course.
The media outlet also stated that after Mila was not able to secure funds for the bridge club, so she decided to pursue engineering as her profession. In order to take up engineering, she needed funds and Jeffrey helped her with that.
During an interview with WSJ, Antonova said, “Epstein agreed to pay and he paid directly to the school. Nothing was exchanged. I don’t know why he did that. When I asked, he said something like, he was wealthy and wanted to help people when he could.”
It seems that around this time, Epstein gained the trust and confidence of the young Russian bridge player. In the year 2017, he emailed Bill and allegedly threatened him to reveal the news of his affair with Mila after Gates refused to invest in a multibillion-dollar charitable fund that the disgraced financier tried to establish with JP Morgan Chase.
Along with this, Jeffery asked Bill to reimburse the fee amount paid for Antonova’s coding course. Then, a representative for Bill said, “Mr Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr. Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates.”
