Lisa Marie Presley Buried In Elvis’s Estate Graceland, Rests Alongside Her Son, Benjamin Keough

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the legendary “King Of Rock And Roll” Elvis Presley, passed away at the age of 54 on January 12 following a possible cardiac arrest. However, she is finally buried at Graceland, alongside her beloved son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020. A public service was held on the front lawn of Graceland on Sunday (Jan. 22).

Benjamin Was Grave Slightly Moved…

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of the legendary “King Of Rock And Roll” Elvis Presley, was finally put to rest at Graceland, next to her beloved son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in Calabasas, California, USA on July 12, 2020. Lisa was buried next to her son on Sunday (Jan. 22).

Sources reveal that Benjamin’s grave was “slightly” moved to make space for his mother Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away at the age of 54 on January 12, hours after being hospitalized following an apparent cardiac arrest. The mother and son now lay side-by-side in the Meditation Garden in the iconic estate.

In fact, Elvis Presley and his parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley – are also buried in the garden of the property in Memphis, Tenn. During the burial ceremony, several celebrities appeared to pay tribute to Lisa. A bunch of white roses was sent by Oprah Winfrey while hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects.

Some of the people in attendance included Lisa’s daughter, Riley Keough, and twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, British royal Sarah Ferguson, singers Axi Rose and Alanis Morissette, and Austin Butler (who portrayed Elvis Presley in ‘Elvis’).

Sarah Ferguson stated: “I think she’s with [her son] Ben now,” noting that she feels Lisa died of a broken heart following her son’s tragic death. “I think we need to make sure Finley, Riley and Harper are fully supported going forward. She was so proud of them, so proud.”

Lisa Rests Next To Her Son…

Lisa Marie Presley started daring Chicago-based musician, Danny Keogh in 1985 and the couple married after three years on October 3. The couple welcome their second child, Benjamin Storm, who sadly committed suicide in 2020. The couple, however, divorced in May 1994 but remained on amicable terms thereafter.

Benjamin was a singer and actor, known for Rod & Barry (2017) and Elvis by the Presleys (2005). He committed suicide in Calabasas, California, USA on July 12, 2020. Benjamin’s friend, Brandon Howard, spoke about his struggle with mental health and “pressure” to live up to the Presley name.

“Sometimes he struggled with depression, which is a serious thing with [the COVID-19 pandemic] and everything happening right now and everybody being locked in the house,” he said. Benjamin was buried at Graceland, Elvis’s historical estate in Memphis, Tennessee. Now, his mother rests next to him.

The news of Lisa’s death was confirmed by her mother,  Priscilla Presley, who also wrote a heartfelt IG post for her daughter while she was hospitalised. However, Priscilla confirmed Thursday (January 12) evening, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you.”

In her professional career, Lisa issued three albums: To Whom It May Concern (2003), Now What (2005), and Storm & Grace (2012). Her debut album sought a Gold certification with the Recording Industry Association of America. She also released some non-album singles, including a few duets with her father, Elvis using tracks he had released before his tragic death.
