At the moment, American singer and songwriter Lady Gaga is being sued for allegedly not paying the $500,000 reward that she promised for the return of her beloved French bulldogs in the year 2021.

Lady Gaga is being sued by a dog theft accomplice for not paying the $500K reward
It has been reported by the media outlet TMZ, that the Bad Romance singer is being sued by a 50-year-old woman named Jennifer McBride, who returned Gaga’s bulldogs to her after they were reported stolen in the year 2021.
According to the publication, Jennifer asserts that Gaga has still not paid the reward of $500,000 to her which was promised to anyone who would find her dogs. She claims that she returned the dogs to Gaga at the LAPD Olympic Community station on February 26, 2021, just 2 days after they were stolen.
Later on, Jennifer was charged in connection to the theft with receiving stolen property and being an accessory to the crime. At that time, it was alleged that she dated the father of one of the men responsible for assaulting Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer.
Despite denying the claims, McBride was told to undergo a two-year probation. In this new lawsuit, she is seeking damages of $1.5 million from Gaga for allegedly posting the misleading reward.
Lady Gaga’s dogs were stolen in February 2021
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot and her dogs were stolen in February 2021. Then, it was reported Fischer had to be hospitalized. However, two of her dogs, Koji and Gustav were stolen from her dog walker at gunpoint.
Later on, the Always Remember Us This Way singer addressed the theft on the social media platform Twitter and posted a few pictures of her dogs. At that time, she stated she was not feeling feel and added, “I continue to love you, Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
As per various media outlets, Lady Gaga’s dog walker Fischer was shot once in the chest and later on, his family disclosed that he was being taken care of at the hospital. While having a chat with People, an LAPD captain stated that the suspects were possibly someone who understood the value of the dogs and that they could not say anything about whether Gaga was the main target in the entire event.
Post the incident, Ryan went on a country tour to heal from his emotional wounds resulting from being shot. At that point, he requested crowdfunding as his van broke down and he needed more money for travel expenses.
