Jane Birkin was an actress and singer who was born on December 14, 1946, in Marylebone, London, to Judy Campbell and David Birkin. Her mom Judy was also an actress by profession, meanwhile, her dad David was a Royal Navy lieutenant commander and World War II spy.
Birkin was brought up in Chelsea and she referred to herself as a “shy English girl”. In an earlier media interaction, she stated that while growing up she was bullied for her looks. Then, she said, “I suffered a lot because of my physique, especially at boarding school. The others said I was half boy, half girl. I had no breasts, not even a developing bosom. It was horrible.”
When we talk about Jane’s educational qualifications, she attended Miss Ironside’s School in Kensington. Soon after, she went to the Upper Chine School in Ryde on the Isle of Wright.
