Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been arrested on charges of aggravated sexual battery. The 22-year-old social media influencer has been accused of forcible kissing a woman at a restaurant in February this year.
The alleged incident was caught on surveillance camera, the video of which is now going viral on social media. Jackson is being held on a $100,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday.
Jackson Mahomes Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Battery
The arrest comes after Jackson grabbed and kissed 40-year-old Aspen Vaughn, the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Bar Lounge in Overland Park. The incident took place on February 25th around 9:30 pm. Jackson is also accused of shoving a waiter at the outlet.
In the now-viral surveillance footage, a man is seen grabbing a woman by her face and kissing her, while she tries to push him away. The influencer was reportedly intoxicated on the night. Vaughn filed a complaint against Jackson in March.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. And I’m telling him, pushing him off saying ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive,” Vaughn stated.
Jackson Denies Accusations
Jackson has denied the accusations against him through his attorney, Brandon Davies. “We have provided law enforcement with the tools and evidence they need to evaluate the claims against Jackson. Every interaction between people needs to be placed in the proper context,” Davies said.
“Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context. We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses,” the lawyer added.
Jackson’s sister-in-law Brittany also called out his accusers on her Instagram story. “They are ignorant. He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s—t about him 🙂. So it’s best to just shut up,” she wrote.
The Influencer has been Embroiled in Several Controversies
This is not the first time Jackson has made headlines for the wrong reasons. The influencer, who has appeared with his NFL star brother at several events, has had a long history of controversies.
In September 2021, he poured water on a Baltimore Ravens fan during a game after he allegedly made inappropriate comments about the Mahomes family. Jackson faced severe backlash following the incident.
His brother defended him at the time by saying, “He takes a lot and he’s usually pretty good at it. And he’ll learn from it and just try to stay away from those people as best he can.” Jackson was also caught on camera dancing at a memorial of football player Sean Taylor, who died in 2007. He later apologized for the incident.
