Ioan Gruffudd’s Daughter, 13, Files Restraining Order Amid Legal Drama With Ex-Wife

Titanic star, Ioan Gruffudd’s eldest daughter, Ella (13) filed a restraining order against her father, adding to the long list of legal drama between Ioan and his ex-wife, Alice Evans. A restraining order has been filed against Ioan and his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace.

Ioan Gruffudd’s Daughter Classes Under Domestic Violence Protection

Ioan Gruffudd’s and his ex-wife, Alice Evans’ eldest daughter, Ella filed a restraining order against her father and his girlfriend, Bianca Wallace. The Los Angeles Superior Court records reveal that the 13-year-old’s case has been classed under “domestic violence protection”.

Ella Gruffudd asked for a temporary restraining order after an alleged incident at her dad’s home. Ella and her younger sister, Elsie, 9, visited their father’s home the Fantastic Four actor shares with his girlfriend. It was then that the alleged incident took place.

A civil harassment protection order against Wallace has also been filed alongside the restraining order. Hearings for both cases are scheduled for June 22 and June 23, respectively.

Previously, Gruffudd accused his ex-wife, Alice Evans of verbally abusing him while his daughters were present. He also stated that she undermined him during their marriage, making fun of his appearance, remarks about his hair loss, and telling him he had “saggy vagina eyes”.

Ioan Gruffudd Was Previously Granted A Restraining Order Against Alice Evans

Ioan Gruffudd, 49, filed to divorce Alice Evans, 54, in March 2021 after she allegedly ruined his reputation on social media. The British-American actress said on Instagram at the time that the “Titanic” actor had left her in “excruciating” pain due to the split.

“I am still fighting against it, because I love our kids, and I still love him, but something has happened inside his head and whatever it is, I don’t see him coming back to us,” she wrote back then.

Alice accused her ex-husband of having a three-year affair with her friend and claimed he mentally tortured her. In 2022, Ioan filed a request for a restraining order against Alice, claiming she threatened to make false public accusations,” “sell false stories to the press” and “destroy” his career if he left her. Alice denied all such claims.

She stated that she never threatened, harassed, stalked or molested Gruffud or Wallace. But then, a judge reportedly granted a three-year restraining order against Alice in August 2022.

Back then, a source closer to Ioan said that Alice had become increasingly volatile and seemingly intent on “destroying his career with her character assassination.” This was the time when Alice was pursuing legal and physical custody of Ella and Elsie. She was willing to give Gruffudd visitation rights to see his girls.

The actor stated in the court that he did not want to prolong the custody battle, as it had been delayed due to Alice reportedly violating her restraining order. He insisted on a criminal trial first.

Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans married in 2009, and have two daughters, Ella Evans, and Elsie Evans, born in 2009 and 2013, respectively. After a series of abuse, the pair separated in January 2021. In the same year, Gruffudd made his new love relationship public. The family has been involved in a nasty legal battle since.
