The talk show host took to his Twitter and expressed his sorrow and grief at the passing away of the queen of Sopranos. He wrote, “We have lost one of the baddest sopranos to ever walk this earth. LaShun Pace one of the lead singers of The Pace Sisters has passed.”
Reid further added, “The Pace Sisters recently loss their sister songbird Duranice Pace and Mom Pastor Betty Pace. Pray for them and all of us who will mourn this loss.”

What was the cause of Pace’s death?
For the last five years, LaShun had been on dialysis waiting for a kidney but didn’t find one. During an interaction with 11Alive, her sister Lydia Pace talked about her sister’s death. She stated that LaShun died of organ failure at the age of 60 on Monday morning.
A little bit about LaShun’s personal life
Pace was born on September 6, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She was an American gospel singer-songwriter. LaShun lost her mother Bettie Ann Pace in 2020 followed by her sister Duranice Pace in January 2021.
LaShun and her eight sisters Melonda Pace, Latrice Pace, Lydia Pace, Dejuaii Pace, Duranice Pace, June Pace-Martin, Leslie Pace, and Phyllis Pace made a group called The Anointed Pace Sisters. They began performing together as a group in their father’s church. The group kickstarted their professional singing career in the year 1988.
Apart from singing with her sisters, Pace carved out her solo singing career. She was most known for her hit songs I Know I’ve Been Changed and Act Like You Know. Not long ago, a snippet of her hit song ‘Act Like You Know became a TikTok trend.
