Flash star Ezra Matthew Miller has invited big trouble in Hawaii. The American star is charged with disorderly conduct and harassment at a Hawaiian bar. The 29-year old actor was later released on a $500 bail.
About the incident
Alcohol and drugs take the better of us. That’s what happened in the case of Ezra Miller. They got arrested in Hawaii for yelling obscenities and harassment at a Hawaiian bar. The bar manager stated that they tried to calm Mr Ezra but everything was in vain.
The Fantastic Beasts star was at a karaoke bar on Silva Street yesterday. They got agitated when people began singing Karaoke. Miller grabbed the microphone from a 23-year old woman who was in the middle of the song and started yelling obscenities.
Police said Miller later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts. The Hawai County police statement reads as under:
“The Flash actor was in a karaoke bar when they “became agitated” and began “yelling obscenities” at those in the bar. “On Sunday, March 27, at 11:30 p.m., South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of a disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street.
During the course of their investigation, police determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became agitated while patrons at the bar began singing karaoke. Miller began yelling obscenities…
And, at one point, grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offense) and later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (harassment offense). The bar owner asked Miller to calm down several times to no avail.”
The Hawaii County police charged Miller with disorderly conduct and harassment, Later they were released on a $500 bail. It doesn’t come as a surprise to those who know about his previous controversies.
Miller’s previous controversies
Ezra’s encounters with the police are not new. in 2011, Miller was shooting for “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They were charged with drug possession but charges were later dropped.
They faced a penalty of $600 for two citations of disorderly conduct. Miller later confessed, “I don’t feel like there’s any need to hide the fact that I smoke pot. It’s a harmless herbal substance that increases sensory appreciation.”
In 2020, a video appeared wherein Miller was seen choking a woman and throwing her to the ground. This too was an incident in a trendy bar. They were later escorted off the premises by the staff. Miller was not charged for this incident.
This year, Miller posted a video on Instagram that seemed to threaten members of the Ku Klux Klan operating in Beulaville, North Carolina. Miller came out as a queer in 2011 but said in 2020 that they do not use the label. What do you think about this incident?
