Attention teachers! Dunkin Donuts has a special offer for you! The national coffee and doughnut chain is offering free coffee to teachers on Thursday, September 1. Educators can grab any one of Dunkin Donuts’ signature medium hot or iced coffees during the limited period.
The offer has been made to honor and appreciate teachers who are getting back to school for the fall season and welcoming students. Read on to learn more about the offer and know how to avail it.
Dunkin Donuts Announces Free Coffee for Teachers on September 1
The quick service restaurant announced the move on its official website and social media, releasing a statement that read, “Visions of back-to-school dancing in your head? In celebration of teachers and all they do for their students and communities, Dunkin’ is brewing up the perfect way to say thank you.”
“Our local educators are crushing it every day in the classroom, so we’re inviting them to have a free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee on Thursday, September 1. Who’s more deserving of a coffee break? We’re proud to recognize educators for their passion and dedication and to help fuel their go with a coffee on us at the start of a new school year,” the statement added.
The chain further said that customer-favorite fall flavors, including the Pumpkin Flavor Swirl, are also up for grabs, announcing, “Just in time for fall, teachers can kick-off the school year and enjoy the perfect pour with the return of our fan-favorite fall flavors. Try our Pumpkin Flavor Swirl in Hot or Iced Coffee for a taste of fall in every sip!”
How to Avail the Offer
Any teacher can visit the chain at the participating locations and have a free coffee. However, some conditions have been announced. Only one drink per teacher is allowed to be free, so you can not think of getting coffee for the whole school staff yourself.
The offer is valid on September 1 only, till supplies last. So be prepared for long lines at the outlet and just hope that they don’t run out of coffee before your turn. Also, cold brew and nitro cold brew can not be availed in the free-of-charge offer.
Moreover, the chain has announced some non-participating locations where the offer would not be available. These include Metro New York City and some cities in Pennsylvania, including Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Johnstown, Altoona, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
The Chain will also Open its ‘Raise A Cup to Teachers’ Contest
On the same day, Dunkin Donuts will open nominations for the ‘Raise A Cup to Teachers’ contest. As a part of the competition, guests can nominate a teacher deserving to win free coffee for a year and a coffee break for their school.
The first 50 teachers to be nominated will get 200 $1 medium hot or iced coffee VIP cards which can be shared with their school staff. The winner will get free coffee for a year and $300 worth of Dunkin products. Entries can be made till October 5 on dunkinraiseacup.com.
Apart from Dunkin Donuts, convenience store Wawa has also announced an offer in which teachers can avail free coffee of any size at their stores throughout September.
