Jimmie Allen gets hit with second sexual assault lawsuit
On Friday, a second woman whose identity has not been revealed in the court documents accused Jimmie Allen of sexual assault. In the docs, she stated that she and Jimmie met each other on a plane to Nashville in the year 2022.
At that point in time, she didn’t know who he was and she mentioned that he asked for her mobile number. It has been reported that the two of them were allegedly engaged in “daily” long-distance communication over the mobile phone.
Then, Allen was married to his wife Alexis Gale who is currently expecting their third child together. The pair called it quits in April 2023 after 2 years of marriage. The estranged couple also shares daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1. In addition to this, Jimmie also has an older son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.
As per the court documents, the Dancing With The Stars alum lied to the second accuser. Back in the day, he told the accuser that he and his wife Alexis Gale were separated and that he wanted to get married to her. He also allegedly mentioned that she would make a good “stepmother.”
The lawsuit says, “Over time, Allen expressed his love for her and told her he could see a future together. He told her he wanted to have children together and that he could see she would make a good stepmother for his children… Plaintiff inquired on several occasions about Allen’s wife, but Allen assured her that he and his wife were separated.”
Although, the pair’s romance took a turn for the worse during a trip to Las Vegas in July 2022. In her lawsuit, Jane Doe No.2 claims that Jimmie “sexually assaulted” her in his hotel room and then passed out.
The second accuser stated that she was extremely upset over the incident that saw the light of day last year. When she was leaving the hotel room, she noticed that the Make Me Want To singer “surreptitiously and, without her consent, placed his cell phone in the closet facing the bed and had been videotaping the entire event.”
Jane Doe No.2 alleges in the court documents that she was not able to get Allen up to delete the recording, so she took his cell phone and brought it to the cops. She went on to say that she suffered “extreme emotional distress, including anxiety and depression,” and has been unable to “trust” others as a result of the alleged incident. At the moment, she is suing Allen for battery, assault, and invasion of privacy.
More details about the lawsuit
Elizabeth Fegan, the lawyer who represents Jane Doe No.2 told Page Six why her client filed the lawsuit. The managing partner of Fegan Scott said, “Since Jane Doe filed her case last month, we’ve heard from others who share similar experiences.”
Fegan went on to say, “Jane Doe 2’s filing demonstrates to me that there is a vivid, distinct pattern of behavior. We intend to show it’s a pattern of deceit, manipulation and ultimately of force.”
The attorney concluded, “The law is clear — anyone who has given consent in sexual activity has the right and the ability to revoke consent at any time. Just as no means no, stop means stop. If one participant doesn’t stop, it is sexual assault.”
What did Jimmie Allen have to say about the first accuser’s claims?
Last month, Jimmie issued a statement in response to his first accuser’s claims. The statement read, “It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever.”
He further added, “During that time she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely. Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives.”
The Freedom was a Highway singer stated his former manager’s claims were false and extremely damaging. He concluded by saying, “I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my career, and I intend to mount a vigorous defense to her claims and take all other legal action necessary to protect my reputation.”
