Country star Jason Aldean dashes off stage mid-performance
On Saturday night, the country star Jason Aldean had to end his show abruptly due to a medical emergency. It has been reported by the media outlet TMZ, that he experienced a heat stroke while singing on the stage.
The American country artist was singing the song Crazy Town at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford when he began feeling a little uneasy. During the performance, he stopped and placed his face in his upper arm. It seems like he was wiping off the sweat and soon afterward, he just got off the stage.
As per Deadline, the rest of the show was canceled and the venue also tweeted about the same the next morning. The July 16 tweet read, “Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date.
It further read, “We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance.”
A fan took to Twitter to spill the beans on the whole incident. The user shared a video of the musician’s exit and she sympathised with him. She wrote, “It was hotter than hell. It was bad enough just standing in the pit I can’t imagine performing in jeans, boots, and hat under all those lights in that humidity with no breeze. Hope he’s okay!”
The same fan went on to say, “Even though the #JasonAldean show was cut short tonight, he still put his all into the songs he did perform which made the night worthwhile. An artist’s health and well-being are so important but is often overlooked. These guys aren’t machines. They’re humans too.”
Jason Aldean thanked his fans for checking in on him
Jason just uploaded a video of himself thanking all those who checked in on him. In the video, he said, “Just wanted to let you know thanks to everybody that’s called in, checked in, I’m doing fine.”
The You Make It Easy crooner added, “Just one of those things. I was hot (and) I was playing golf all day yesterday and then got to the show and I think it was a combination of dehydration and heat exhaustion.”
