Bodybuilder Cedric McMillan Passes Away at 44, Fans Pay Tribute

McMillan was one of the greatest builders of all time. The news of his passing away was first revealed by his family members to GI on April 12, 2022. As of now, the actual cause of his death is not known.

Cedric was best known for bringing back the classic look. In the past, he had faced many health issues so he put all his focus on his recovery which led to the postponement of his comeback to the competition.

Cedric has talked up about his health issues before

In the past, the bodybuilder has openly talked about his health issues. During an interaction with GI, he stated that he had tested positive for Covid-19, as a result of which he began having issues related to his heart and breathing.

McMillan contracted Covid in the year 2020 and after a while, he started facing difficulty in breathing. Soon afterwards he was diagnosed with Pneumonia. Unfortunately, he was even put on life support.

Cedric spilled the beans on his Covid experience and said, “I was almost dead.” He recovered from all of his health issues and decided to return to guest pose at the Armed Forces National 2021.

How did the fans react to the sad news?

As soon as the news of Cedric’s passing away came out, the fans of the bodybuilder couldn’t stop themselves and they stopped by the social media platform Twitter to pay tributes to him.

One fan wrote, “R.I.P. to one of my favorite bodybuilders and best personality in professional bodybuilding Cedric McMillan.”

Followed by another user who tweeted, “I know none of my followers probably care but these past two years I’ve started following the bodybuilding world a fair bit. I find it interesting. Today, Cedric McMillan died. That’s probably the 5th death in the last year and it makes me very sad. Tough industry”

One user tweeted, “Saddened to hear of the passing of Pro Bodybuilder #CedricMcMillan. I attended a seminar of his in Toronto in 2018. A Gentleman, Entertaining and Charismatic. Loved his Bodybuilding philosophies. He was only 44. My deepest condolences go out to his Family, Friends and Fans. RIP”

Another user penned, “If the rumours are true then RIP Cedric McMillan. I was lucky enough to meet this man all the way back in 2018, not knowing who he was at the time, to then see him frequently on my @TeamScitec Superhero pre-workout packaging. Dude was a really nice guy and I can’t believe it.”

One fan wrote, “Shawn Rhoden, George Peterson, and now Cedric Mcmillan all died within 6 months of each other. The strain that these guys put on their body is really starting to show in the industry something has to change.💔”
