Steven Tyler has been hit with a new lawsuit

Steven Tyler, best known as the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band Aerosmith, has been accused of sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress of a minor in a new lawsuit.

In addition to this, the Love Is Your Name singer has alleged that he forced said minor to get an abortion. In the court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, the plaintiff, Julia Holcomb, alleged that she began a sexual relationship with the Aerosmith frontman in the year 1973 soon after her 16th birthday when Tyler would have been 25 years old.

However, Tyler has not been named in the lawsuit. The defendants have been referred to as defendants Defendant Doe 1 and Does 2 through 50. As of this moment, Holcomb has not publicly spoken about her alleged relationship with him in the past.

In her lawsuit, Julia claimed that she met the Sweet Emotion singer at an Aerosmith concert in Portland, where she lived, and that he took her back to his hotel room after the show.

Holcomb stated that she told Steven her age and about her troubled home life before he “performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon” her. She claimed that he sent her home back in a taxi the next morning.

Julia also claimed that the rock star also flew her out to his next Aerosmith show in Seattle, after which he allegedly performed more sexual acts with her. She stated that he flew her back to Portland the next day.

Holcomb alleged that in 1974, Steven convinced her mother to allow him to become her legal guardian by allegedly promising to make sure she was taken care of and enrolled in school.

As per Julia’s lawsuit, Steven “did not meaningfully follow through on these promises and instead continued to travel with, assault and provide alcohol and drugs to” her. In 1975, when Julia turned 17 years old, she alleged that she got pregnant with Tyler’s baby.

Holcomb stated that she became pregnant with Tyler’s son and that the Dream On singer asserted she terminate the pregnancy. She claimed that he threatened to stop supporting her if she did not go ahead with the procedure. She stated that after the abortion, she left Tyler and went back to Portland.
