At the moment, 50 Cent whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III is in a lot of legal trouble. The incident saw the light of day on August 30, 2023, during his show at Cryto.com Arena in Los Angeles. He hit a fan in the head with his microphone.
The woman whom the Emmy-winning artist struck with his microphone was Power 106 radio host, Bryhana Monegain. It has been reported by the media outlet TMZ, that she filed a police report on Wednesday night.
Some law enforcement officials have told the publication that the Candy Shop rapper hurled his microphone at his crew in the production area and hit the victim. Bryhana shared with the police authorities that the musician looked at her before throwing the mic.
Shortly after, the victim was rushed to a hospital with a laceration on her head. In her pictures that have emerged online, we can see a bloody Monegain with an open wound on her forehead.

Soon after, many videos of the altercation that happened during the show popped up on the internet. In one of the clips, an angry 50 Cent can be seen throwing his mic into the crowd not once but twice.
The Just a Lil Bit rapper was reportedly upset because his mic was not working properly. During his performance, he was handed out many mics that didn’t work. At first, he threw the first mic with little force. On the other hand, when the second mic also failed to work, he launched it into the crowd with high energy.
Due to the entire incident, Monegain didn’t host her midday show for Power 106 on Thursday morning. DJ Junior Boy held the fort as Bryhana recovered and told all the listeners, “I’ll be filling in for the homegirl Bryhana and I’ll be here until 3 p.m.”

While having a conversation with media outlet TMZ, 50 Cent’s lawyer, Scott Leemon said, “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”
Sources close to Jackson have told Entertainment Tonight, that the rapper wasn’t targeting Bryhana. In addition to this, the source also mentioned that she was not supposed to be in the restricted area.
