North West turns her mom Kim Kardashian into a Minion with makeup
On Sunday, Kim gave her usual signature contour and nude lip a break, and instead, she opted for a more colorful look. The make-up artist behind her new look was none other than her daughter North West.
Not long ago, The Kardashians star jumped on the ‘Minions trend’ that has been trending on the video-sharing app TikTok. Kim’s 9-year-old daughter North turned her into a yellow cartoon character that goes by the name of a minion with the help of cosmetics. “MOMMY MINION,” Kim captioned the video.
North made use of a total of 4 different palettes to give her mom Kim a makeover and create an effect on her face. She ended up painting the Skims founder’s face bright yellow and soon afterward drew round glasses on it. She finished off the look with blue glittery lips.

In the TikTok video, Kim can be seen wearing an all-denim outfit. She prepped her face differently for this look. The great beauty tutorial was dropped on Kardashian and North’s shared TikTok account which is handled by an adult. The mother-daughter duo boasts a fanbase of seven million followers on the platform.
JoJo Siwa has also tried her hand at the ‘Minions trend’ blowing up on TikTok. North West is a big fan of JoJo. The So You Think You Can Dance alum covered her entire face with yellow, black, and white crystals to make it more glam.
The Kardashians are big fans of the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise
Yes, you read that right. The Kardashians are great fans of the film franchise and to an extent that earlier this summer Kim threw a Despicable Me-themed party for her four kids at her $60million LA mansion.
The lavish and swanky party consisted of foosball, hundreds of balloons, and dancing Rollerbladers, to celebrate the release of the latest film, Minions: The Rise of Gru.
At that point, Kim and Khloe shared a lot of photos and videos from the birthday bash on their Instagram Stories. There was a multi-tiered minion-themed cake and treats at the party. Not only that, but Kardashian also had minion-themed slime stations and painting stations for the kids outside.
