Wynonna Judd Announces She Will Continue ‘The Judds’ Tour Without Mother Naomi

Naomi Judd’s death shook us all, and we are still reeling from the fact that one of the best has gone.

The stardom will be missed forever, and Wynonna decided to do something to carry on the legacy. It is terribly hard for the children when their parents pass away.

The news of the revelation broke on Sunday afternoon at Noami Judd’s public memorial service at Nashville’s renowned Ryman Auditorium, which was presented by Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts.

What is emotional revelation? Many admirers confirmed and shared this news on social media, expressing their appreciation and strong love for the family. Here’s a hint: Naomi Judd would have desired something for her admirers.

Wynonna Judd Will Embark On The Judds ‘Final’ Tour

The daughter is honoring her mother and embarking on the final tour of ‘The Judds’ without her mother Naomi. This tour was supposed to be with her mum but Wynonna is going to honor her because that’s what she would’ve wanted for her followers.

The singer announced this and said, “That’s what she would have wanted. And what the fans would want.”

Before Naomi Judd passed away on ‘The Judds,’ the band announced a 10-city stadium concert called The Final Tour, their first outing altogether in over a decade.

The daughter mentioned at that time, “What I’m looking forward to most is celebrating Judd music with the fans. Mom and I have had quite the journey over the last 38 years, and the fans have been with us through it all. This tour is a celebration for them!”

Wynonna Judd Spoke For The First Time After Her Mother’s Passing

The show must go on.

Before the heartbreaking final performance of “Love Can Build a Bridge,” she appeared publicly for the first time since Naomi’s death.

“It’s so strange in a way to be here, but it seems so natural. I lived my life publicly since I was 17 so it feels natural to be with my family of choice. Tonight is a celebration. And at the same time, I can’t put into words how devastating. It’s the first place I’ve been public.

I said goodbye to her two weeks ago and kissed her on the forehead. Her eyebrows were still perfect. She was unlike anyone in our family, and I miss her so much. But I will continue to sing. I said I would.”

And then she announced the decision.

“So, I made a decision, that after a lot of thought, I’m gonna have to honor her, I’m gonna do this tour because that’s what you would want. And mama once told me Give them what they want. Not what you want.

So tonight, as we close. I say the show must go on. As hard as it may be, we will show up together. And you will carry me as you carried me for 38 years, once again. Because I honestly didn’t think I could do it.”

And then at the end, she added, “I didn’t know if I could go on without her. Life is so strange, it’s so devastatingly beautiful what happened here tonight so we will continue. That’s what she would want, right?

Even thinking about what the daughters are going through is painful. But, in any case, what are your opinions on this latest announcement? You’re welcome to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
