American rappers 50 Cent and The Game got in a heated back and forth on social media after 50 Cent won the Emmys for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for “The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show” alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar. While 50 Cent has a lot to celebrate for the three Emmy trophies for the show, he is back to firing shots at The Game.
A Fight Over Trophy Wins…

It all started on Saturday (Sept 4.) when “The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show” won three trophies at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards: Outstanding Variety Special (Live), Outstanding Music Direction, and Outstanding Production Design For A Variety. As 50 Cent won the award alongside Dr Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, he posted a since-deleted photo of the Game (post-dated) and captioned it: No caption Needed ( topped with three laughing emojis).

Although the “Massacre” artist may have deleted this post asap, The Game had already taken a good glance over his stray shot. In return, the 42-year-old Californian rapper posted a picture of 50 Cent wearing an unbuttoned shirt and a loose tie. He also captioned it: No caption needed, of course, garnishing it with three laughing emojis).
To take it further, he added hashtags such as #whatYoEyeBrowDoin #SpicyAssNigga (topped with a chilli pepper emoji). The Game also deleted the post but screenshots had already been taken from Team 50 Cent. The score was already 1-1 but then 50 Cent came forward and posted a .GIF of himself on Instagram where he was driving his car and captioned it: “Oh no, [sad face emoji] I’m sorry you don’t get one [trophy emoji]. Then the first week 18k, if you need someone to talk to I’m here for you. LOL.”
The Trash-Talking Goes Back In Time…
The reason for the present beef is very much related to “The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show”. If you are not aware, The Game is mad about not being a part of the show and previously spoke on the “I Am Athlete” podcast that the real reason why he wasn’t made a part of the Super Bowl Halftime Show was that he is not a safe artist. He said, “They went for the safe artists”
On this podcast, he even pin-pointed by saying that “the fu***** Rams was in the Super Bowl bro, L.A, L.A., L.A. all around the Super Bowl”. He was mad and hurt that he never got a call. I am not surprised by the trash-talking which goes way back in time. The two rappers have been taking shots at each other as The Game claims that he ended 50 Cent’s rap career.
In 2019, The Game claimed that 50 Cent needs him to be musically relevant and if they didn’t have this long-standing beef, they’d be billionaires by now, yet, their trash talking continues. They even hold grudges against each other over writing credits. While the beef may never end, 50 Cent surely has all the reasons to celebrate, but hey, 50 has a habit of blasting people on social media, isn’t it?
