Tupac Shakur’s Residence As A Teen In Baltimore Has Been Put On The Market

A residence where the late Tupac Shakur started to hone his legendary penmanship, located in Baltimore, is now up for sale. At this place, he began to rub the art of penmanship for the first time.

It has already been branded “Tupac Shakur Way” on the block where the two-unit building is located, and now the home has been listed for $179,000.

In 1984, Pac Moved Into An Apartment On The First Floor Of The Building

As a boy of thirteen, Pac moved into an apartment on the first floor of the building with his family. He eventually attended Baltimore School for the Arts, where he made friends with Jada Pinkett Smith, then his girlfriend.

There is no doubt that Jada played a significant role in the rapper’s appreciation of art and theater during his time in Baltimore. This led him to begin writing poetry, sometimes about Jada herself.

Last year, the “Red Table Talk” host unearthed one of his writings for the world to see in celebration of his would-be 50th birthday, and an extensive collection of his poems was compiled for the 1999 book, “The Rose That Grew from Concrete.”

The legendary rocker, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, chronicled his Baltimore years multiple times during his lengthy career.

The News Follows Tupac’s Stepfather’s Release On Compassionate Grounds

Tupac’s stepfather was granted compassionate release from prison amid medical deterioration about a month ago, and this news comes on the heels of the release. An official from the Bureau of Prisons claimed that Mutulu Shakur has less than six months to live. This is because he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in May.

Considering that the 72-year-old is no longer likely to be confined to prison, he will now be able to spend his final days outside of it in Southern California, according to The Intercept. In the October hearing, Mutulu was denied release from prison ten times previously, including the most recent time he was refused release. There was no longer any risk to society associated with him due to his impeccable institutional record, and the federal parole commission admitted that.

During the robbery of a Brink’s armored truck in 1981, two police officers and a guard were killed during the robbery. At the same time, Shakur was found guilty of racketeering conspiracy charges. It was later discovered that he helped Assata Shakur, 2Pac’s activist godmother, escape from prison after he had helped her escape several times.

“We are relieved that the Parole Commission now recognizes what has long been true — that Dr. Shakur’s release poses no risk whatsoever,” said Brad Thomson, an attorney representing Mutulu Shakur. “It is tragic that it took until he was finally on the verge of death for that truth to be realized. Mutulu will now be able to live out his final days surrounded by the love and care of his family and close friends.”

An Inside Look At Tupac Shakur’s Baltimore Home

As stated in the listing, the house is also equipped with some great features, including a living room, a dining room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a family room. In addition, a yard in the back of the unit is accessible from the team. In the meantime, the second-floor apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, and an eat-in kitchen. It is rented out for $725 a month for the first floor and 750 a month for the second floor.

As for the ground floor of the home, however, it is not furnished. However, it has two water heaters, a standing bathtub, two water heaters, two furnaces, and a washing machine and dryer. In addition, there are excellent sidewalks in the neighborhood and easy access by public transportation to the house.

There is a house on the property that was once the home of the late rapper Tupac Shakur when he was in his teens. What do you think about the possibility of selling the house? Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
