Every person who hopes of becoming famous also dreams of fans queuing up for autographs and pictures. But what if the same fan starts showing up everywhere you go, even your house? Something similar to the One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush recently.
More About The Stalker
An obsessed fan was finally detained last week outside the star’s home in Los Angeles. The fan would show up uninvited and often wait for her outside restaurants with gifts and flowers. Although Bush is a nice person and appreciative of her fans, she felt uncomfortable when the fan started appearing repeatedly and also showed up at her house.
Jhoseplyn Coreaaguello, the obsessed fan, is 36 years old and was detailed from outside the star’s house. It is reported that the Coreaarguello would also message Bush on Instagram. She has been charged with one count of misdemeanor stalking, it carries up to one year in jail.
She is still in custody with the bail set on $50,000.
Sophia Bush’s Canceled Show, Engagement, and More
Hopefully, the obsessed fan will come to terms with reality and stop following Bush or any other person for that matter. The news of arrest might have brought some relief into Bush’s life. She was recently engaged to Grant Hughes and is enjoying the phase.
Talking about the engagement, she said that she was “intentionally cherishing” the moments. She spoke of how people told her marriage is a lot of work but no one told her of “sweet and pure it would be.”
The 39-year-old was previously married to One Tree Hill co-star Chad Murray in 2005. The marriage only lasted for five months and ended on bad terms for both. In a podcast, Bush talked about how celebrities have to revisit their past in a way other people don’t.
Good Sam Canceled
Recently, CBS canceled her show Good Sam after just one season. Bush played a talented surgeon, who had to babysit the boss after he comes out of a coma and wanted to resume work. The boss also happened to be her father who never acknowledged her knowledge or talents.
The show also starred Edwin Hodge, Skye P. Marshall, Wendy Crewson, Michael Stahl-David, Davi Santos, and Omar Maskati.
CBS bought the show’s rights from Katie Wech & Jennie Snyder Urman in 2019. The show had ranked last among 14 dramas that had aired on CBS that season. Although season one had 3.77 million viewers, the overall rating led to its cancelation.
The show was produced by Tamra Davis, John Weber, Joanna Klein, Jennie Snyder Urman, Frank Siracusa, and Katie Wech.
Good Sam was Bush’s return to television after five years of hiatus. Despite the setback, Bush seems to be in positive spirits.
In a recent interview, she said “I will say, I do feel lucky whether it’s my life partner or the wonderful group of men in my life, who make up my friends, and allies who make up my support system.”
In 2020, she appeared on 4 episodes of Love, Victor on Hulu. Bush also started a podcast with her former One Tree Hill costars Bethany Joy Lenz and Hilarie Burton. She also remains a spokesperson and activist for different causes.
