How to Watch Nashville Big Bash NYE 2022 Concert?

Nashville is set to welcome 2022 with the Big Bash New Year’s Eve free concert this weekend. It features some of the biggest names in country music. However, Covid 19 is impacting the event as the organizers had to change the lineup just a day before.

The Zac Brown Band, Sam Hunt, and Elle King are now out of the Bicentennial Mall concert. Lady A will co-lead the evening with Dierks Bentley. Still, it is going to be one of the most electrifying evenings in the city.

NYE 2022 Nashville’s Big Bash on Skydeck, a ticketed event on the highest rooftop of the city will also take place on Friday. Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Riley Green, and Chris Janson will headline this show.

Nashville Big Bash 2022 Updated Lineup: Who’s Performing?

Covid 19 has enforced multiple changes in the free concert known as Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Mall. In the latest update, Zac Brown Band is no longer performing at the concert due to the bandleader, Zac testing positive for Covid 19. The band shared the update via Twitter in a heartfelt note.

Sam Hunt and Elle King have already made themselves unable due to the same cause. Now, Lady A, the top Country music group, will co-headline the “Big Bash” with Dierks Bentley. Guest performances include Ingrid, Andress, and Breland.

The NYE 2022 Nashville Big Bash ticketed event at Assembly Food Hall, Skydeck will feature Carly Pearce, Jon Pardi, Chris Janson, and Riley Green.

Nashville’s Big Bash 2022 Venue & Time for Free Concert

The NYE 2022 Jack Daniel’s Nashville Big Bash annual free concert will take place at the Bicentennial Mall on Friday evening, December 31, 2021. Music will kick off at 6 PM ET with Nashville’s Fisk Jubilee Singers. The performance will be followed by a half-hour set from DJ Aydam.

From there, Co-headliners and special guests will present their pieces starting from 7 PM CST until midnight 12:30 AM CST. You can attend the concert in person or watch it at your home.

Another event in the city, NYE 2022 Nashville’s Big Bash by CBS will take place at Skydeck, and Bobby Bones will host it. It will feature the country’s hottest music stars performing live while food and drinks will be available.

The tickets for this event are priced at $200 per person for general admission. It is only open to people aged 21 years and older.

How to Watch Nashville Big Bash Live on TV/Online?

CBS will broadcast a five-hour-long special “Nashville’s Big Bash” on Friday evening. The broadcast will feature segments of the Bicentennial Mall concert and additional performances from Miranda Lamber, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, and more.

You can watch the program live on NewsChannel5 at 7 PM CST. Music will run till 12:30 AM CST, and there will be a half-hour break at 10 PM CST.

Paramount+ subscribers can stream Nashville Big Bash live or on-demand via the online service. You can also claim the Paramount Plus free trial available till January 3, 2022, to stream it.

If you are headed to Nashville’s New Year’s Eve 2022 Big Bash concert, he is everything you need to know before going out.

You can find the parking lots near Bicentennial Mall here if you are driving to the venue. There are also neighborhood parking options available such as Vision Lot, State Garage, Bowtruss Lot, etc.

The visitors can also park their vehicles at Nissan Stadium for $10 only. According to NCVC, designated rideshare stations and taxi stands are available at these locations:

  • James Robertson Parkway between Fourth Avenue and Rep. John Lewis Way
  • James Robertson Parkway from Charlotte Pike to Rosa L. Parks Boulevard (Capitol Hillside)
  • Rosa L. Parks Boulevard from Nashville Farmers’ Market entrance to Tenth Circle North
  • Jefferson Street between Sixth Avenue and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard

Streets and roads surrounding the Bicentennial Mall such as 7th Avenue and 6th Avenue North between Jefferson Street and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard will stay closed on Friday afternoon.

The weather is forecasted to have intermittent showers throughout the day with possible thunderstorms. It will be mostly sunny during the day. 71°F will be the highest temperature while 60°F will be the lowest.

Concertgoers are not allowed to carry umbrellas on the event site. They are advised to bring raincoats, ponchos, rain boots, and other protective weather gear. You can find the complete list of prohibited items here.

Covid 19 Protocols at the Nashville Big Bash 2022

The visitors have to strictly follow the Covid 19 protocols set by the organizers. Take a look at them:

All individuals of age 11 years and older must have proof of a monitored negative Covid 19 test of date 30th or 31st December before entering the event site. An individual can also carry proof of a complete Covid 19 vaccination if he or she doesn’t have a timely -ve test.

The concertgoers are also requested to wear masks, use proper sanitization, and maintain standard social distancing. If you are experiencing even the slightest symptoms of the disease, please do not visit the event site, and stay at home.
