There seems to be no end to Kanye West’s troubles! Perhaps it is his lawyers who are the ones who aren’t able to seem to catch a break when it comes to him.
It has been confirmed that the rapper has been dropped by his fifth divorce lawyer, which means it will be a never-ending process.
As part of his never-ending battle to end his marriage to Kim Kardashian, the 45-year-old rapper has lost his fifth divorce attorney in the never-ending fight over his divorce. However, you don’t have to worry, and Ye has already gone through the steps to be able to hire a new lawyer to replace his old one.
Kanye’s Fifth Lawyer Resigns & Left Proceedings
Kim Kardashian made a divorce filing against Kanye West in February 2021. Some significant matters need to be settled in a court of law as a consequence of their divorce, which was partially finalized in March of this year. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like that will happen anytime soon because Ye’s lawyer announced, “I’m Out!”
In connection with their divorce, Kim and Kanye had a trial setting conference in Los Angeles, CA, on Friday, August 5, to set the trial date. The current divorce lawyer for the couple, Samantha Spector, previously asked the court to relieve her of her duties as counsel. That means, “Let me go, so I can get TFO!”
The Divorce Between Kim & Kanye Seems Interminable
The relationship between Spector and Kanye, her client, was “irretrievably broken,” Spector said, but would not elaborate further on what had happened.
As of Friday, the judge felt extra nice and granted the divorce lawyer’s request to withdraw from the case, even though she was supposed to withdraw next week officially. Without a lawyer to represent him, Kanye is back where he started.
The singer filed legal paperwork in May to withdraw his legal motions in the ongoing and never-ending divorce proceedings between him and Kardashian. Yeezy’s divorce lawyer filed a withdrawal application in response to the high-profile divorce case in which he was involved.
‘Irretrievably Broken’ Relationship, Lawyer Says
It is stated in the filing that Spector’s attorney claims that there has been a breakdown in the relationship between the lawyer and the client that cannot be reconciled. It is interesting to note that we do not know as much as we would like as to why Kanye is losing his premier lawyer at this point, except that the case will be handled by another of his lawyers, for now at least.
It’s important to point out that the attorney listed in the divorce documents is from out of state, a Pennsylvania attorney who is not a divorce lawyer. As Kanye was WILDIN’ out on Kim Kardashian on social media and making wild claims about her, Spector came into the picture.
According to our reports, Kanye hired her following the complaint that he was being kept from his children by the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star. After their separation in February, the “Skims” founder made allegations that she had been subjected to “constant attacks” by her ex-husband since they had divorced.
