The acclaimed rapper was recently suspended from Instagram for 24 hours for breaching harassment policies. We’ve all heard of Kanye West, also known as ‘Ye.’
Because of his posts, the rapper has recently become the most talked-about person on Instagram.
The rapper has been posting a lot recently about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, his children, and especially Pete Davidson and other notable personalities.
And, most recently, the rapper unleashed a racial attack on Trevor Noah. Let’s dive into the specifics of the 24-hour suspension, as well as what the representative stated.
Kanye West 24-Hours Suspension On Instagram
Kanye West’s Instagram account has been suspended, but it has not been removed. It’s basically a 24-hour temporary suspension in which Ye can’t post or even remove anything for 24 hours.
The rapper is unable to send direct messages. A representative for Meta, which owns the platform Instagram, informed a news source on Thursday that West breached the company’s hateful speech, bullying, and harassment guidelines.
Meta, while did not reveal the specifics of the post, stated that if West continues to infringe in the hereafter, more punishment could be done against him.
“We often take additional steps against accounts that repeatedly break our rules by placing restrictions on their account,” the statement reads.
Kanye’s account is currently visible, and the most recent post there is includes Kanye calling out D.L Hughley.
Racist Comments Made By Kanye West On Trevor Noah
You’ve probably heard of Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show. Kanye commented racist slur on Trevor and that’s the probable explanation why the rapper’s account is suspended.
But why did Kanye call Trevor out? Well, Noah, as host of The Daily Show, was doing his task on the platform regarding Kanye West’s ongoing social media feud and his relationship.
“You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous,” Noah remarked.
Along with stating, “But what she’s going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”
Noah also asked something on the show.
“As a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?”
West’s answer to Noah’s reply has since been removed, and it contained racial remarks. But we do know what West posted regarding Trevor.
“All in together now… K–n baya my lord k–n baya K–n baya my lord K–n baya “Oooo’ lord K–n baya,” West captioned a screenshot of a Google search result that described Noah as a “South African comedian.”
Along with this, Kanye is constantly slamming Pete Davidson on social media. Recently, the rapper shared some screenshots of himself with Pete.
Ye also repeatedly remarked on Instagram about his daughter North and how he doesn’t approve of her using TikTok.
Kim Kardashian also commented on all of this on Instagram, expressing how upsetting it is for them.
Kanye’s Instagram followers can also comment on his postings, but the rapper will not receive direct messages for the time being.
