Following Ye’s controversies, ranging from “White Lives Matter” to his recent anti-semitic remarks, the French fashion house announced on Friday (Oct. 21) that it has severed its ties with the 45-year-old rapper.
Its parent company, Kering released a statement, saying, “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.” The French fashion house has removed Ye’s runway image from both Vogue’s and Balenciaga’s website. Not only this but pieces of his Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collab were also removed from Gap’s site.
This marks the end of one of Kanye’s most important business relationships, giving him a real hit. balenciaga’s statement was released following the third-quarter earnings report, which was presented this week. Now, Camille and the Brown Rudnick firm will be taking over towards securing his existing business interests.
Is Camille Promising For This Role?
Vogue called Vasquez an “overnight celebrity” as a consequence of the Johnny Depp trial, and she was promoted from associate to partner at her firm, Brown Rudnick. While there is little doubt about Camille Vasquez’s legal skills, let us not forget that most of her career revolves around litigation and arbitration, particularly in defamation litigation.

Well, Floyd’s family is considering filing a defamation lawsuit against the rapper and responded to the false claims via their civil rights attorney Lee Merritt. “While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death. Don’t you think Vasquez would be apt for this case? Well, she surely fits the profile. As for Ye’s business matters, I don’t think it’s a great choice. Well, the lady likes new challenges.
