“Jackass” alum Bam Margera is no stranger to trouble. After facing legal action from his wife Nicole Boyd, Bam is now arrested for public intoxication. It is reported that the television personality was arrested after allegedly making a scene at a restaurant where his estranged wife and son were eating. Police stated that Bam was drunk in public and had a massive argument with a woman.
Bam Margera Arrested For Public Intoxication
“Jackass” alum Bam Margera landed himself in trouble once again after he was arrested for allegedly creating a scene at a restaurant where his wife, Nicole Boyd and son were eating. Cops revealed that the television personality was drunk in public and got into an argument with a woman.
Law authorities further narrated the incident by mentioning that the Burbank police received a call around 3:25 PM Wednesday for a nuisance at a Thai food restaurant. As the police arrived, they found Bam arguing with a woman, and the dispute continued to grow.
Thereafter, Bam Margera was arrested and booked for misdemeanor public intoxication. The news comes after his wife, Nicole Boyd filed for legal separation in February. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the couple’s separation, listing the breakup date as Sept. 14, 2021.
Bam’s Previous Arrests
Following legal action by his estranged wife, Bam Margera was arrested earlier this month after his girlfriend filed a complaint for domestic violence. Bam was arrested on March 2 for allegedly kicking the unnamed victim during a domestic violence dispute.
A couple of sources have informed the media outlet that the former professional skateboarder’s estranged wife Nicole Boyd was not involved in the case. Nicole, on the other hand, filed for legal separation from him in February. Per court papers, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for this step.
She listed their breakup date as Sept. 14, 2021. The court papers also reveal that she requested legal and physical custody of their son Phoneix. In addition to this, she also asked for spousal support and legal fees to be covered by him. Her attorney, David Glass explained the reasons for the lawsuit:
“Nikki Margera felt compelled to file for legal separation from her husband, Bam Margera, due to his continuing drug and alcohol abuse, erratic behaviour, and due to his failure to provide support for her and their son. Nikki has put everything she has into trying to get Bam to stay sober and to try to preserve her family.”
Bam has been married to his wife for almost a decade. But then, his drug and alcohol abuse became a major reason for their fallout. From a series of legal issues and arrests to constant rehab visits, Margera has remained a troubled man. Most recently, his “Jackass” co-star Steve-O called him out and said that he’s afraid Bam is going to die due to his substance abuse.
He wrote in a since-deleted Instagram comment that Bam got “loaded” in one of his comedy shows. He also mentioned how he has been braced for the news” of Bam’s untimely death. As for his present arrest, we are yet to hear about his bail. Keep reading for more updates.
