Bobby Brown Jr. told friends he was sick and eerily predicted his death hours before he died. The music artist and son of music legend Bobby Brown was congested and coughing intensely on the phone with a friend the day before he died,

Why does Bobby Brown Feel Guilty?

During the “Red Table Talk” interview, Bobby narrated that his late son had been “struggling in regards to drugs”. He also clarified that his son “wasn’t a user” in the way that Bobby himself had been. He said:

“He would experiment with different things,” the star explained. “It wasn’t like he was dependent on drugs, like when I was in my situation. I depended — I needed it. He was a young man that tried the wrong stuff, and it took him out of here. These kids, to this day, they’re trying different things. They’re trying to get as high as they can possibly get. That’s a real problem because they don’t know what these drugs are being mixed with these days.”

After Jada asked Bobby if authorities know who sold the drugs to his son, the star replied, “The investigation is still going on. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed they find the people and get these drugs off the street. But my babies are gone.”

Bobby said that he feels guilty for his son’s death because he too had a history of drug use and his time playing a part in his son feeling that he could test something. Bobby’s son went on trying different things and got addicted. The R&B singer revealed he feels guilty about that.

Bobby Brown’s Tragic Life

Bobby Brown has undergone the loss of both, his son and daughter. Brown Jr was one of two children from his father’s 11-year relationship with Kim Ward, which ended in 1991. However, Bobby lost his daughter in 2015 whom he shared with his late wife Whitney Houston.

Bobby Brown Jr.’s death came eight years after his stepmother Whitney Houston accidentally drowned in a bath, and five years after his 22-year-old half-sister Bobbi Kristina died in similar circumstances. Bobbi Kristina died at age 22 in July 2015 following seven months in a coma after being found unconscious in a bathtub.

After losing his wife, daughter and son, Bobby felt broken for years and still experiences the horrors of their death. He revealed in last year’s interview that “Losing my son was very, very unexpected. Just like losing my daughter. We were just in the studio two nights before. It was something that hit me really, really hard.”

Street fentanyl and other similar drugs have taken the life of many people unnecessarily and Bobby Jr. is just another victim. The fentanyl epidemic is out of control and those supplying this lethal drug should be held responsible for the death and destruction that it causes. But again, don’t you think Bobby too played a part in this?
