Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share her outrage with over 74 million followers. She posted a picture that showed that the United States of America had 0 days since  a mass shooting took place.

She captioned the picture “Enough is Enough !! It is infuriating. The 27th school shooting, alone, this year. This is only happening in America, this is the country that is holding the (ancient) rights to own a firearm, over the value of human life.”

Talking about the root of the problem she said that it was an “American problem”. She also questioned those who chose to stay silent and didn’t believe that the easy and open sale of guns was the main issue.

She said, “To anyone who believes otherwise, how can you accept a future of children doing shooter-drills, in a locked-up school armed with guards like a prison ?!”

Gigi went on to request her fans to donate to Everytown. Everytown is a nonprofit organization that aims to educate about guns and advocates against gun violence and gun control. More than 8 million people have come together to commit to making their communities safer.

Gigi is one of the more vocal celebrities in the industry. She consistently speaks up about the atrocities being committed against the Palestinians.
