Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, who is known for his controversial thoughts and statements, is back in the news. In an interview with The Sun, the South African engineer has revealed that he has become a father to another child with his stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout.
Errol, 76, already had a 5-year-old son with Jana, 35, named Elliot Rush, who was born in 2017. The second child, a baby girl, was born in 2019, but the news about her birth broke out on Wednesday. Read on to know the full details of the development.
The Child was Apparently Unplanned
Errol, who is no longer in a relationship with Jana, has also revealed that the second child was not planned. He said, “I haven’t checked her DNA. But she looks just like my other daughters. She looks like Rose and Tosca mixed up. She looks exactly like Rushi and she behaves like him. So it’s pretty obvious you know.”
He added, “She wasn’t planned. But I mean, we were living together. She (Jana) stayed here for about 18 months after Rushi was born.”
Errol said that the reason for his separation from Jana was their huge age gap. He stated, “So any man who marries a woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while. But there’s a big gap… And that gap is going to show itself.”
“I married her mother when she was 25 and I was 45. She was probably one of the best looking women I’ve ever seen in my life,” he further said. He also told that Jana and the kids were staying with him at his home in South Africa some time back.
About the possibility of having even more children in the future, he said, “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce. If I could have another child I would. I can’t see any reason not to.”
Elon and Errol had a Fallout After Jana Became Pregnant with Errol’s baby in 2017
Errol married model Maye Haldeman Musk in 1970, with whom he has three children, Elon, Kimbal and Tosca. The couple separated in 1979, after which Errol went on to marry Heide Bezuidenhout. Heide was a young widow who already had two children, including Jana, who was 4 years old at the time.
Errol and Heide became parents to two children together but divorced each other after 18 years of marriage. In 2017, when news came out that Jana was pregnant with Errol’s baby, Elon Musk had a bitter fallout with him. He had described his father as a ‘terrible human being’. Errol’s other children were also uncomfortable with the pregnancy.
Errol told that his children still have not accepted the situation. He said, “They still don’t like it. They still feel a bit creepy about it, because she’s their sister. Their half sister.”
Elon Recently Confirmed Having Twins With Neuralink Executive
Elon was in the news last week when he confirmed that he had fathered twins with an executive at Neuralink, his brain chip company. The twins were born to executive Shivon Zilis just a week before Elon’s ex-girlfriend Grimes had welcomed her second child with him.
With the birth of the twins, Elon is now a father to ten children. Confirming the news, he tweeted, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”
