“Selling Sunset” stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have announced to part their ways five months after making their relationship official.
Chrishell and Jason have made their relationship Instagram-official five months back. However, seems like things did not go as planned thereby both have taken a call to break up.
Both the actors have shared their statements via social media platform Instagram announcing their breakup.

A number of reports have already been making rounds on the internet this week that Selling Sunset colleagues have ended their relationship. However, Chrishell and Jason themselves have come forward to announce their breakup through Instagram.
Chrishell shared a lengthy statement in three different images. Her statement read, “Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward. Men have the luxury of time that women don’t and that’s just the way it goes.”
She also shared the fact of how she is handling this breakup publicly. She did the same earlier as well when she divorced Justin Hartley and also at the time of her breakup with Keo Motsepe.
She said that “it’s easier to live transparently” although she has to go through some difficulties in doing things so in a public manner.

She further wrote in her statement, “I very much hope to one day have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind. Thank you for the kindness and support to those that understand. And thank you Jason for the most incredible relationship and for consistently being honest with me even when it hurts.”
Jason, on the other hand also shared his version of the statement via an Instagram Story which he later posted to his grid.
He mentioned in his message that although they are no more together they still remain to be best friends.
He also reiterated that their love and respect for one another will not change post their breakup. Jason also referred to Chrishell as the most amazing girlfriend he ever had.
Jason in his statement wrote, “We remain best friends and we will always love and support one another. She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.”
He also said that Chrishell is an exceptional human being.
He concluded his message by writing, “Chrishell is an exceptional human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.”
40-year old Chrishell was married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. The split of their marriage was documented in “Selling Sunset Season 3”.
Chrishell and Jason’s romantic relationship has been teased as Selling Sunset Season 5’s topic whose filming has also been done. However, it is yet to be released.
Season 4 of “Selling Sunset” was released on Netflix last month.
