Carrie Underwood paid her tribute to Naomi Judd during her performance at the Stagecoach Festival which took place on Saturday.
Judd, who was the co-singer in the Judds alongside her daughter Wynonna, passed away that day at the age of 76.

Carrie while performing at the concert, took to the stage and addressed the crowd at her show in Indio, “This next song goes out to everybody who’s ever lost someone that they loved, which is everybody.”
“I feel that’s one of the few human experiences that we all share. But just because the people that we love are not here with us does not mean that they are not here with us, and that does not mean that you will not see them again someday.”

She even requested the crowd to light up their phone flashlights in an order to create light in the memory of those who we have lost, including Judd, then she started her performance of “See You Again,” a heartfelt song about love, loss and faith which she dedicated to Judd.

The emotional rendition of See You Again pulled the heartstrings of the audience at the concert. This song by Underwood’s gained the ’18th consecutive Top 10 single’ on the Billboard Hot Country Songs back in 2013.

The song initiates with some mild instrumental music which soon transitions into uptempo music. The chorus of this hopeful song goes like “I will see you again, oh – This is not where it ends – I will carry you with me, oh – ‘Till I see you again.”
The lyrics of the emotional song continue as “Sometimes I feel my heart is breaking – But I stay strong and I hold on ’cause I know – I will see you again, oh – This is not where it ends – I will carry you with me, yeah, yeah,”.

The Stagecoach Festival was scheduled just a few hours after the devastating news of Judd’s death was out, hence Underwood asked her fans to honor the dead.

The news broke my Judd’s daughters Ashley and Wynonna who shared the news about the demise of their mother.

Though we are still not aware of the reason for the death Judd did express her mental health struggles back in 2017
“I didn’t get off my couch for two years,” she told Savannah Guthrie on TODAY in 2017. “I was so depressed that I couldn’t move. I wouldn’t even brush my teeth. I wouldn’t get out of my pjs. My husband (Larry Strickland) and my girlfriends and Ashley would come over and I would just go upstairs and lock the door to my bedroom … You become immobilized.”
The Judds joined the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday in a ceremony filled with tears, music and laughter, just a day after Naomi Judd died unexpectedly at age 76.

Underwood is not the only person which paid her tribute to Judd, The golden Ole opry held a moment of silence to honor Judd.
