J-Hope has hit a new record for himself by becoming the first Korean solo artist to hit more than 8 million followers on Spotify as of 3rd December.
With this feat, the 27-year-old songwriter, dancer, and record producer has extended his own record of holding the most number of followers for a Korean artist on Spotify.

Back in August this year (August 21), J-Hope has recorded a follower count of over 7 million followers on Spotify. That is, the K-pop singer has increased his followers on the platform by 1 million in less than 4 months (105 days).
This is indeed a big achievement for J-Hope which clearly speaks about his craze and popularity among his fans!
Well, not just J-Hope, but even other boys of BTS namely V, RM, Jungkook, Suga, Jimin, and Jin enjoy huge popularity among their fans all across the globe. Almost all K-pop singers are known for breaking records and setting trends.

Also, speaking about the overall ranking of the Korean artists having the most Spotify followers on the music streaming platform, J-Hope holds the fifth position. The first 4 spots are taken by K-pop groups BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and EXO.
For the unversed, let me tell you that BTS which is the most followed Korean group on Spotify boasts of having 27.2 million followers currently.
Next in line is Blackpink holding a follower count of over 18.3 million, followed by Twice having 7.57 million followers. Twice is followed by Exo 7.07 with million followers and then Seventeen that has 4.60 million followers on Spotify.
As of now, J-Hope happens to be the only Korean singer who has recorded more than 50 million streams on a minimum of 8 songs on Spotify.
