Famous pop star Britney Spears has dismissed her erstwhile security team after ex-husband Jason Alexander gatecrashed into her home last week. She decided to sack the entire team because of the way his intrusion on the day of her wedding last week with Iranian actor-model Sam Asghari was handled.
40-year-old Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, assisted her in getting rid of her security personnel as confirmed by a source who is privy to the matter. She will be replacing her existing team with new security personnel very soon.
She took this decision immediately post the incident. Jason barged into her house on 9th June when she was busy preparing for her wedding day. While he was jumping the fence it was caught on the CCTV.
Britney’s attorney assisted her in handling the whole matter
After arriving at the pop star’s Los Angeles residence on 9th June, Thursday, Jason said, “Britney Spears invited me here. She’s my first wife. My only wife.” during an Instagram live.
When Jason was confronted by a group of security guards, he declared, “I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding!”
Britney’s attorney Matthew Rosengart provided a status update on this incident on 10th June, Friday saying, “Fortunately, Alexander is incarcerated and under an emergency protective order. This was an outrageous security breach, which I am livid about.” he said in a statement on Friday.
The former federal prosecutor added, “I want to thank Sergeant Cyrus Zadeh, Detective Ken Michaelson, and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office for their prompt and good work and look forward to working with law enforcement to ensure Alexander is aggressively prosecuted and hopefully convicted, as he should be. But fortunately, Britney is safe, and she was a stunning and happy bride.”
Jason is not allowed to get in touch with Britney
Jason should maintain a minimum distance of 100 yards away from Britney. He cannot communicate with her through any means be it via SMS, phone call, or social media direct messages.
Alexander denied committing trespassing, vandalism, and battery of which he was accused. However, the DA charged him with a felony stalking charge. According to the protective order, he should not carry any weapons or guns going forward and need to surrender any existing firearms under his possession.
Alexander, who was married for less than 3 days (55 hours) to the pop sensation in 2004, remains imprisoned and has set a bail amount at $100,000.
The same year, she married Kevin Federline and later announced their separation in 2006. Their divorce was finalized in 2007. The couple shares two children (Sean Preston-16 and Jayden James-15) together.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony that was held in Los Angeles. The gathering had 60 guests which included the couple’s close friends from the industry such as Paris Hilton, Madonna, and many others. The couple officially declared their “I Dos” on June 9, Thursday.
Britney’s son Sean Preston and Jayden James whom she had with her ex Kevin Federline were not present at the ceremony.
