Bill Murray Faces Charges Of ‘Kissing’ And ‘Straddling’ A Female Staff Member

It has been reported that a new case accused Bill Murray of having kissed and strangled a female production movie employee on set, resulting in the studio shutting the movie.

In an alleged incident on the set of “Being Mortal” back in April, Murray appears to have displayed excessive friendly and “sexual” behavior towards the unidentified staff member.

It has been reported that the 72-year-old comedian has started kissing and straddling the much younger staffer, who said she was unable to move because he was so heavy and has been accused of assaulting her.

A representative from Murray’s camp has been contacted for comment by The Post. According to witnesses, Murray attempted to kiss the woman, but both were wearing masks at the time.

There was a report, however, that Murray defended his actions by claiming they were intended to be playful. Still, on the contrary, the unnamed staffer was horrified by what he perceived as entirely sexual behavior on Murray’s part.

In April of this year, Murray went on CNBC and was asked what happened after it was revealed that he had become physically involved on set, and in response, he stated: “I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn’t taken that way.

As of now, we are talking and trying to make peace with each other. The world’s different than it was when I was a little kid. Things change, times change,”. According to a source, Murray felt remorse after the incident that caused people on the set to lose their jobs because of the incident.

The Woman, According To Reports, filed a Complaint

According to the report, the woman filed a complaint, and her claims were reportedly backed up by another member of staff who witnessed what happened. The two parties ended up settling the case through a non-disclosure agreement, and Murray was able to pay her just over $100,000 as part of the settlement.

Additionally, it is alleged that the woman waived her legal rights against Searchlight Pictures and Disney if she was able to take legal action against them. A memo from Searchlight stated that they had suspended the film’s production, but no reason was given for this.

Murray is not the first person to have been reported to have misbehaved on set, as this is not his first time. As recently as a few days ago, actress Geena Davis revealed that she had a bad experience with the actor while making the movie “Quick Change” in 1989.

As part of the upcoming memoir “Dying of Politeness,” the 66-year-old Davis wrote about a meeting she and Murray had during their audition process, in which she claimed the now-72-year-old Murray insisted on using a massage device on her, even though she refused to do so.
