After a wait of 105 days, we finally have the winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 as VJ Sunny!
The grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu 5 premiered today on Sunday, 19th December. It was a star-studded event tonight with celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli, and Nani gracing the occasion with their appearance.
Host of the show Nagarjuna Akkineni announced VJ Sunny as the winner of this season.
Along with the glittering Bigg Boss Telugu trophy, VJ Sunny also took home prize money of Rs 50 lakhs, a bike, and a plot worth Rs 25 lakhs.

After lifting the winner’s trophy Sunny said, “Thanks to my 19 inmates and audiences for making a winner.”
The top five finale contestants who competed for the Bigg Boss Telugu trophy are VJ Sunny, Maanas, Sreerama Chandra, Siri Hanmanth, and Shanmukh. By the end of the episode, Sunny and Shanmukh were left as the top two finalists.

With Sunny bagging the winner’s trophy, Shanmukh emerged as the runner-up for this season of Bigg Boss Telugu. Sreerama Chandra has ended up being the second runner-up for this season.
Excited Sunny, on winning the Bigg Boss Telugu 5 trophy said that he dedicates it to his mother.
Sunny said, “I dedicate this cup to my mom Kalavathi, my first God.”
He added, “This moment is surreal. Thanks to everyone including 19 contestants for making me a winner. I can’t forget this memorable journey. I love you Nag sir. Alia Bhatt’s ‘I love you’ was yet another biggest gift. I promise to entertain all the time with the motivation of Nagarjuna sir. My mom Kalavathi’s letter was a huge motivation. I dedicate this cup to my mom, my first god.”

Runner up Shanmukh said, “Winning is not important; journey is important.”
Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made it to the grand finale to promote their upcoming Hindi film Brahmastra. They were joined by Rajamouli who graced the evening to promote his upcoming Telugu film RRR.
Actress Shriya Saran was also seen giving a mind-blowing dance performance. Actor Jagapathi Babu was also present at the occasion for the promotions of his next web series Parampara.

Today’s evening also witnessed the presence of actors Nani, Krithi Shetty, and Sai Pallavi who were there to promote their upcoming Telugu film Shyam Singha Roy. Nani has also been the host of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2 in the year 2018.
Bigg Boss Telugu 5 is the fifth season of the Telugu version of the controversial television reality show. This year’s Bigg Boss Telugu kickstarted on the 5th of September 2021 and came to an end with its grand finale being aired on Sunday, 19th December.

The show has been hosted by Telugu star Nagarjuna Akkineni who hosted the show for the third time this year. The show aired on Star Maa and Disney+ Hotstar app.
This season of Bigg Boss Telugu was launched with 19 contestants entering the Bigg Boss house. All the contestants were locked in the Bigg Boss house at Hyderbad’s Annapurna Studios.
The contestants were Sarayu Roy, Umadevi, Lahari, Nataraj, Hamida, Swetha Varma, Shailaja Priya, Lobo, Vishwa, Jaswanth Padala, Anee, Ravi Kiran, Priyanka Singh, Kajal, Sunny, Sreerama Chandra, Siri Hanmanth, Shanmukh Jaswanth, and Maanas Nagulapalli.
