Bella Hadid took to social media to share about her mental health struggles. The 25-year old American supermodel shared some shocking pictures of hers wherein she was seen crying. She added a long note to those pictures as she opened up about her feelings of insecurity and confusion.
Bella Hadid took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday, November 9, and shared a number of crying pictures of hers. She also added a video of her friend Willow Smith to her Insta post in which she was speaking about her own feelings.
Bella Hadid wrote, “Willow Smith, I love you and your words. It made me feel a little less alone and that’s why I’d like to post this.”

She also mentioned in her note how almost everyone goes through feelings of insecurity, being lost as well as confused, etc.
She wrote, “People forget that everyone is basically feeling the same way: lost, confused, not really sure why they’re here.”
She further added that everyone goes through this feeling of anxiety, however, try to hide it by covering it in some way or the other.
While sharing her pictures in tears, she added to her note, “This is pretty much my everyday, every night. For a few years now.”
The model tried to make her fans understand that social media is not real life. Well, we as her fans have always seen Bella in glamorous pictures donning stunning outfits on the runway or in fashion magazines.
Bella wrote, “Social media is not real. For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone. So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you.”
Bella requested those who are dealing with mental health struggles in their lives to remember that self-help and mental illness/ chemical imbalance is not linear. She also tried to make her fans understand that the rollercoaster definitely comes to an end at some point or the other and one can always start afresh.
She wrote, “It is almost like a flowing rollercoaster of obstacles… it has its ups and downs, and side to sides. But I want you to know, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point.”
Bella Hadid also shared in her note that she has gone through enough breakdowns as well as burnouts in her life. She noted that one can understand his/her own pain and how to deal with it by spending time with oneself and working on it.

She wrote, “it took me a long time to get that in my mind, but I’ve had enough breakdowns and burnouts to know this: if you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys, and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to handle it. Which is all that you can ask of yourself.”
She concluded her note by thanking everyone for seeing and listening to her.
She wrote, “Not sure why but it feels harder and harder to not share my truth on here. Thank you for seeing me and thank you for listening. I love you”.
