Amanda Laura Bynes got struck with controversy as a nude picture in a bathtub circulated on the internet recently. Well, it looked like Amanda Bynes but as per her version, it’s an imposter. Read on to learn more about her statement.
It’s a Fake Account
The 36-year-old “What a Girl Wants” star released a statement denying posting an alleged nude photo of her in a bathtub. Amanda Bynes stated that she is not the one in the picture, nor is she the person running the alleged Twitter account.
Amanda also revealed that she never takes nude photgra[hs like the one circulating on the Internet. She has referred to it as an act done by an imposter to tarnish her reputation. However, she has no connection with the said Twitter account wherein the photo popped up.
Bynes’ attorney Tamar Arminak revealed in an interview that they tried using her former conservatorship as a catalyst for Twitter to take down this attack but it didn’t bother. Her legal team has been trying for years to persuade Twitter to take down this account in question but nothing has been done yet. Tamar stated:
Amanda is NOT the naked woman in the photograph posted this week on Twitter. There’s nothing funny about what she was going through mental health-wise and the fact Twitter thought it was appropriate to keep a parody account mocking what she was going through is disgusting.
The alleged Twitter account goes by the hand @PersianLa27. Twitter has refused repeated requests by AB’s legal team stating in its defense that the said account is a celebrity parody account.

Amanda Laura Bynes was born in Thousand Oaks, California. The former Nickelodeon actress is best known for her work in television and film throughout the 1990s and 2000s. She began her career as a child actress in the Nickelodeon sketch comedy “All That”.
