Adele Applauded for Halting a Concert for Struggling Fan, Ensured Safety in Less than a Minute

Fans heap loads of praises on Adele after she halted a concert at London’s Hyde Park on Friday (July 1) evening. The fifteen times Grammy-winning artist was performing her hit song “Skyfall” when she realised that a fan in the crowd was in distress. So, yea she has become one of the most recent performers to prioritise concert-goers’ safety and has gathered praises from fans.

Fans Are Adele’s First Priority…

Adele is undoubtedly one of the most humble artists in Hollywood. Well, she has made us believe the same time and again. In a recent move wherein she prioritized concert-goers’ safety first, the “Rolling In The Deep” singer halted her concert at London’s Hyde Park while performing the song “Skyfall”.

Powerhouse singer Adele stopped mid-way through the song to help a fan during her performance on Friday night. While performing her hit-song ‘Skyfall’, Adele spotted a struggling fan in the crowd at London’s Hyde Park. She stopped singing and immediately called for assistance. “Stop, stop, stop. I need security’s help,” she said. “Right in the middle there, can you see where they’re waving?” Watch above.

Adele Resumes Her Concert…

The world’s best-selling British artist asked people in the crowd to make way for the help team and was met with praises and cheers from her audience. She then ensure that the security reaches the fan in distress, and as soon as everything was okay, she headed straight back into performance mode.

Right, let’s start again,” she told the audience. The entire situation was resolved in less than a minute and her prompt response was met with praise from her live audience. People followed Twitter with her video and showered her love for the artist. One fan tweeted, “Love her.” Another commented, “What Travis should’ve done,” in reference to the 2021 Astroworld Festival incident.

If you don’t recall during Travis Scott’s performance at Astroworld Music festival in November 2021, an extremely packed audience pit began to push forward, which led to a fatal crowd crush and killed 10 people, while Scott continued to perform and asked the fans to go wild.

At the time, many concertgoers even documented the incident and shared photos and videos of the tragedy on various social media platforms. Travis Scott is the founder of the Astroworld Festival. As per ABC News, Houston Fire Chief Sam Pena told the reporters:

“It all began around 9:30 pm when the crowd began to compress toward the front of the stage.” Then, Scott continued to perform and in the middle of his performance, he screamed, “Somebody passed out right here.”

Later on, it was revealed that more than 300 people were treated by the medical staff and  25 were taken to the hospital. The identities of all the victims were released at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Houston.

Well, Adele is not the only crowd-centric artist in the industry. In light of this moment, it is important to recall Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Teyana Taylor, Linkin Park, Billie Eilish, and more artists who stopped their shows to help those in need and who didn’t continue until they were sure everyone was okay. What do you think about Adele? Isn’t she a beautiful soul?
