BGMI wears the crown as the Best Game of 2021.

The tech giant, on Tuesday, 30th November, announced the Best Games of 2021 from Google Play.

The list has the Best Android Apps along with the best games from all over the world.

“By challenging the norm, introducing unique features and giving users a never-seen-before experience, Google Play’s Best of winners globally represent the gold standard in app and game development,” the blog from Google read.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is not behind in maintaining its top spot. BGMI from Krafton ranks as ‘Best Game’ for the current year in India. Furthermore, ‘Users Choice Game of the Year’ is none other than Garena Free Fire Max.

“Gaming continued to gain significant interest in India, with many across the country enjoying a range of thrilling and imaginative gaming experiences,” Bouchard said.

Similar to the context of best apps, Google has this time given us ‘Best Games for Tablets’ that focuses entirely on games featuring on tablets. The popular games in the category are, My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge, Chicken Police, and so on.

Best Games of 2021 on Google Play

PUBG Mobile was banned in India last year. Soon later, Krafton introduced us to the Indian version of the game which we now know as Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The game ever since its debut made the users go wild. Within the first month, there were 40 million downloads and 16 million users actively played the game daily.

The professional players of the game will participate in the 2022 Asian Games Event. This is a very renowned chance for esports to showcase its brand.

For this, Krafton created BGMI so that Indian players can take part in the Asian Games.

BGMI has also released a 1.7 update which consists of new in-game events, items, and characters.
